British Airline opens the door to In flight mobile phone calls

Press Release Body: If planning to travel in a British airline, then there is good news for you. The British communications regulator Ofcom has given the nod for the installation of systems which may allow the passengers, to send and receive calls and text messages, while still inside the plane.
But before the passengers start using the calling and messaging facilities from their seats, the authorities need the approval of UK\'s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
According to Ofcom, after the approval is granted it will depend on the individual airline companies, to initiate the process or not, based on the customer demand.

Ryanair hopes that the service would start running successfully from the mid of this year.
The entire airlines agree that the safety of the passengers is the priority and no compromise will be made on that.
